Golf Clinic at Castle Creek |
On Wednesday, February 3rd, 30 students from the class hosted a clinic. The topic? Putting & Chipping. Two potentially game-winning skills. The students, led by PGCC faculty members Tom Tryhane and Bill Picca, also a member of the Argentine PGA (A.P.G.A.), taught 35 people, some of whom traveled over 20 miles to participate, the fundamentals of Putting & Chipping at the Castle Creek Country Club.
By all accounts, the Professional Golfers Career College appears to have a simple philosophy; if you love golf, play golf. To foster the love of the game, PGCC ensures that it's students are working at it five days a week, in class and on the course. One stop on the road to becoming a good golfer is learning how to become a good teacher, and through the school's Clinic Planning class, the students can apply their practical knowledge in a real-world setting.
PGCC and its student body are committed to sharing their earnestly acquired skills with the community. All of the clinics are free & open to the public. The next clinic will be held on Wednesday February 17th at Temeku Hills Golf Course, from 10am to 12pm, and everybody is welcome.
