Kent Brown Executive Director Temecula, California Campus
Kent Brown, one of the founding partners of the Professional Golfers Career College, is Executive Director and Placement Director for the College. Kent is a member of the PGA Advisory Board of Southern California.
He is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He was the number one player and captain of the Varsity Golf Team.
After graduation, he played professional tournament golf until he joined the Ben Hogan Golf Company. During the next 14 years, Kent was one of the company's outstanding district managers and was honored as the company's number one Master Salesman.
Kent is an internationally recognized golf instructor, working with college, amateur, and tour players. He teaches our classes in Principles of Salesmanship and Career Planning & Placement. Drawing on his extensive connections in the golf world and knowledge of the wide range of pro golf jobs, he works individually with each student in long-term golf career planning as well as practical job placement. | |

Jim Patch Executive Director Orlando, Florida Campus
Jim Patch is the Executive Director of the PGCC, Orlando Campus. Jim has been employed in Career Education for over 30 years. He brings broad experience in academics and administration serving as Dean, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and President of Jones College in Jacksonville, Florida. He as also assisted many institutions in achieving licensure and accreditation in his role as a consultant.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from California State Polytechnic University and his Master of Arts Degree from Western Michigan University. He has completed additional graduate work at the University of Florida and Nova University.
Jim has been very active in State licensing activities and has served as a member of the Sate Board of Independent Education as well as numerous committees and boards to which he has been appointed by the Commissioner of Education. Jim worked with others in completing a redesign of the Florida licensing law, a reformulation which is still in effect.
He also has a broad range of experience in post secondary accreditation, having served as a commissioner for the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. | |
